Melissa has been an attorney since 2000 and has extensive experience in civil litigation in both state and federal court, including at the trial and appellate levels. She personally manages her case files from the claims level through trial and beyond.After working for the defense side for ten years, and after having been the unfortunate victim of a car accident where she was injured and saw firsthand how difficult and frustrating the claims process can be, Melissa D. Bickel decided to open the Law Office of Melissa D. Bickel to help people through the tedious process known as the legal system. She promises to work diligently in order to achieve the best outcome for her clients. Melissa D. Bickel has firsthand knowledge regarding how the insurance companies evaluate claims, so she is in the unique position to be able to effectively and efficiently resolve her clients’ claims. As an experienced trial and appellate lawyer, she will pursue her clients’ claims to whatever level necessary.

When Melissa is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years, Dan, and son, Wyatt, playing and watching golf, tennis, racketball and baseball [Wyatt’s favorite sport], as well as camping and traveling.
