There’s usually two types of product liability cases. One is what’s known as a design defect, and that means that the product was simply designed in a defective manner: there was something wrong with the design and the engineering of the product. In other words, it could have been made one way, safer and better, but it was made another way, less safe and worse. The other type of product liability case is what’s known as a manufacturing defect, and in a manufacturing defect case, typically involves a product that was manufactured and something went wrong with that product during the manufacturing process which, in turn, injured an individual.
