I was injured in a car accident as a passenger. Whom can I file a claim against?

Passengers who are involved in car accidents are entitled to full compensation for their injuries by whoever is determined to be at fault in the accident. If the driver of the other car is at fault, then a claim is filed against that person, and their insurance company is responsible for paying the damages. If the driver with whom you were traveling is at fault, then the claim is filed against that person, and his or her insurance company is responsible for paying the damages. Occasionally, both drivers may be found to be partially at fault, and in that case, a claim can be filed against both drivers and their respective insurance companies.
